Paula Jordan-Mayo, also known as neapaulatan, is an illustrator based in North Carolina. Born and raised in Rocky Mount, NC, she graduated with a BFA in Illustration from East Carolina University in 2018 and currently pursuing an MA in Illustration online at the Academy of Art University. Paula aspires to become a graphic novelist. Her art career began when she was a toddler, and is hardly seen without her iPad. She considers herself to be agile between both digital and traditional mediums, but prefers digital illustration. In her free time, she sketches and writes her ideas for her story that she'll one day have published. In conclusion, she is just a pocket-sized girl with locs who just loves making art.
